Junior/Senior Software Developer

Kenit Automotive Services, Inc. is hiring a Junior/Senior Software Developer to build and maintain scalable software and web applications for internal and customer-facing needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy software applications using Java, Python, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and C++
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to support scalability and performance
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into system designs using design patterns and system architecture principles
• Contribute to front-end development using JavaScript frameworks such as React or Express
• Maintain code integrity and traceability using version control tools including GitHub, SVN, or Azure DevOps
• Participate in Agile cycles, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives
• Optimize cloud infrastructure deployments on AWS or Azure for reliability and scalability
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment for faster feature delivery
• Apply software engineering best practices across API development, SQL and MySQL database management, and high availability system design
• Analyze performance metrics and troubleshoot issues to support ongoing system improvements

Requirements

• Proven experience in software development within a collaborative team environment using Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, or JavaScript frameworks like React or Express
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API development, microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of database systems including SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Understanding of version control systems such as GitHub or SVN for managing codebases
• Experience with CI/CD tools to automate build, test, and deployment processes
• Strong grasp of software design patterns, scalability principles, and system architecture fundamentals
• Exposure to Linux environments and web development best practices is highly desirable
• Prior Agile experience is preferred but not mandatory
