Role Overview

The Hedge Fund Application Developer and Operational Support will design and maintain in-house software to automate fund operations and data analysis. The role works directly with users across the organization and requires comfort with unclear, rapidly changing requirements and limited direction. It combines development with ongoing operational support and occasional ad hoc analysis projects.

Technical Stack

The primary application stack is a domain-driven, service-oriented, lambda architecture built with Java (RMI/JMS) and PostgreSQL, with extensive use of Spring and Hibernate. Front end applications were mainly Java web applications and Eclipse RCP fat clients. A variety of small utilities and integrations use a broad spectrum of technologies, APIs, and services local and remote. Python and Excel are widely used for scripting, ad hoc analysis, and communication.

• Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
