Provide hands-on technology leadership and advisory support across multiple strategic programs for investment banking and capital markets
Support platforms used by sales, trading, and client distribution functions across ASD and GCM
Serve as a technical consultant for architecture reviews, modernization initiatives, and platform transformation efforts
Identify opportunities to simplify architecture, improve scalability, and reduce technical debt
Drive engineering excellence across application architecture, API design, microservices, event-driven systems, and cloud-native development
Help delivery teams with deep technical reviews, resolving complex technical challenges, and addressing production issues
Enable capital markets domain workflows by translating complex business requirements into scalable technology solutions
Explore AI/GenAI adoption opportunities as part of modernization work

8 to 10 years of software engineering experience in banking, capital markets, or financial services
Strong hands-on expertise in Java (Java 11/17+)
Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
Experience with Angular
Strong working knowledge of SQL/data modeling
Messaging technology experience such as Kafka and/or MQ
Experience with SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and production support
Ability to present technical solutions to senior business and technology stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally across distributed teams
