Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain internal applications that automate fund operations and data analysis.
- Collaborate with users across the organization to interpret evolving requirements with limited direction.
- Provide ongoing development and operational support, plus frequent ad hoc analytics projects.
- Create decision support tools for Investment Management and related analytics.
- Develop solutions for Trading workflows and order processing.
- Develop capabilities for Operations and trade settlement processing.
- Build portfolio monitoring and risk measurement tools.
- Deliver accounting and performance measurement software components.
- Develop business intelligence and management reporting solutions.
Requirements
- Comfort in a small, dynamic environment with informal direction.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and data engineering skills.
- Experience with typical data integration patterns and data formats.
- Exposure to common software design patterns.
- Hedge fund experience and operational knowledge preferred.
- Fixed income and municipal bond knowledge preferred.
- Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
- Java development experience.
