Job Description
This Cyber Full-Stack Technical Software Engineer role supports Deloitte's Cyber Engineering initiatives by delivering secure software solutions, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with business stakeholders on AI-enabled initiatives across cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business partners, solution engineers, team members, and leadership to interpret requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
- Analyze and implement user needs to create new or enhanced product functionality.
- Identify key drivers of issues and propose technical approaches based on analysis, experience, and sound decision making.
- Develop solutions to client problems using appropriate methods and tools, and validate them with subject-matter experts.
- Appreciate the benefits of modern methods and tools, applying them to engagements to contribute to method and tool advancement.
- Demonstrate accountability and contribute to the successful realization of client goals.
Requirements
- Hands-on full-stack development experience across frontend and backend technologies.
- Experience designing, developing, deploying, implementing, or supporting AI, GenAI, or agent-based AI solutions in enterprise applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming with Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Frontend development experience with Angular, React, or Next.js, using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 in production.
- Experience with at least one backend stack: Node.js, Python (Django or Flask), or Java (Spring Boot).
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs and microservices.
- Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and at least one NoSQL database (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, or DynamoDB).
- Experience using Git and development lifecycle tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito) and with automated testing and CI/CD implementation.
- Experience deploying applications, APIs, or analytics workloads to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, data science, applied mathematics, physics, statistics, or a related field.

Position Summary
You will be responsible for delivering high quality products within set timelines on an individual basis. Depending on needs, you may mentor or direct junior team members and coordinate with onsite and offshore teams to clarify functional requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Docker, container-based application development, and serverless architectures
- Secure development practices or cybersecurity-focused application development experience
- Hands-on experience building GenAI/LLM-powered solutions in client or production environments
- Experience with Frontier GenAI Platforms such as Anthropic, Google, or OpenAI, including Claude API, Claude for Enterprise, Claude Code, Gemini API, Vertex AI Agent Builder, Grounding, Google Workspace integration, GPT-4o, Assistants API, Responses API, and OpenAI Agents SDK
- Experience contributing to project planning, estimation, or risk tracking
- Experience mentoring junior or mid-level developers, leading code reviews, and providing development feedback
- Ability to partner with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in cross-functional teams
- Cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch
- Exposure to graph databases such as Neo4j or Memgraph
- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle
- Experience with Bootstrap, jQuery, or JSP in legacy or mixed environments
- Understanding of DevOps or DevSecOps practices
- Knowledge of web security, GitOps, and Kubernetes customization
- Basic familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
