Job Description
Overview
Join Lynden Door's Employee Development Team as a Curriculum Developer & Facilitator. This full-time, on-site position is based at 2077 Main Street, Lynden, WA 98264 and runs Monday–Friday.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct assessments with leadership to identify training and development needs
- Develop custom curriculum, tools, and learning resources based on business needs
- Ensure adult learning best practices are incorporated into all training materials
- Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual training sessions
- Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements through feedback loops
- Develop surveys, gather feedback data, and prepare summary reports
- Support scheduling, setup, and coordination of training events
- Prepare materials (printing, binding, organizing training resources, etc.)
- Provide administrative and facilitation support to the Employee Development Team as needed
What We’re Looking For
Required qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience developing and facilitating training curriculum or related learning content
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to influence and collaborate across teams without direct authority
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive projects to completion
- High integrity, professionalism, and respect for others
- Passion for serving others and contributing to a healthy team culture
Preferred qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Certification in Instructional Design or experience with course authoring tools (Articulate, Adobe Captivate, etc.)
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage: $28.00 - 33.00/Hr DOE
