AEM Developer Architect

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement enterprise grade AEM solutions with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
• Develop custom components, templates, and workflows aligned with industry best practices.
• Lead AEM as a Cloud Service implementations, following modern cloud native architecture principles.
• Optimize platform performance through effective configuration and caching strategies.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to support deployments and ensure system reliability.
• Provide technical leadership and drive architectural discussions within the AEM ecosystem.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across multiple layers of the platform.
• Establish and enforce standards for security, accessibility, and performance optimization.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to enhance engineering quality.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for knowledge transfer and scalability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with significant delivery of AEM based solutions.
• Deep expertise in AEM core frameworks, including Sling, OSGi, and dispatcher configuration.
• Strong proficiency in Java and front end technologies like HTL and JavaScript frameworks.
• Solid understanding of enterprise web architecture principles and scalable application design.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerized environments and Kubernetes based deployments.
• Familiarity with integrating AEM with enterprise marketing technology stacks.
• Prior experience in a technical lead or solution architect role is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay range: $33 - $67 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
