Job Description

Robert Half is seeking a PeopleSoft Integrations Developer for a contract-to-perm role onsite in Hartford, CT. The position centers on maintaining and enhancing critical data interfaces across PeopleSoft environments, with a focus on Informatica-based development and ongoing support to ensure reliable data movement. This onsite opportunity pays between $43 and $58 per hour and offers a path to permanent employment.

Responsibilities

Design, improve, and monitor Informatica-based integration pipelines to move data between PeopleSoft modules and connected systems.
Investigate interface failures, job outages, and data discrepancies, implementing fixes to restore dependable processing.
Collaborate with functional partners and technical stakeholders to elicit requirements and translate data movement needs into effective integration solutions.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including interface designs, mapping logic, workflow steps, and runbooks for operations support.
Support test planning, execution, and validation for integration updates, patches, and new enhancements prior to release.
Review source-to-target mappings, schemas, and existing interface artifacts to ensure alignment with business rules and system design.
Document processes thoroughly to enable knowledge sharing and ensure continuity of existing integrations.

Requirements

3+ years of experience developing or supporting data integrations in PeopleSoft environments.
Hands-on experience with Informatica and enterprise ETL processes for data movement and transformation.
Working knowledge of the PeopleSoft Integration Broker and related tools used to connect PeopleSoft with other platforms.
Ability to interpret technical artifacts such as data mappings, schemas, interface specifications, and workflow documentation.
Experience with PeopleSoft applications such as Campus Solutions or Financials is strongly preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create organized documentation for support and handoff purposes.
Familiarity with Oracle-based data integration technologies, including Oracle Data Integrator or similar tools, is a plus.
