IBM MQ Developer/Admin

Glint Tech Solutions LLC is seeking an IBM MQ Developer/Admin to strengthen its middleware integration team, delivering enterprise-scale messaging across distributed and mainframe environments. In this onsite role in Deerfield Beach, FL, you will design, administer, and troubleshoot IBM MQ-based solutions and the integrations that keep systems communicating reliably.

This position centers on building and operating IBM MQ messaging components while coordinating with other technical teams to connect MQ with enterprise applications, including mainframe workloads and modern cloud and business platforms.

What you’ll do

• Build and manage IBM MQ messaging solutions, including queue managers, queues, channels, listeners, clusters, and certificates
• Administer MQ components and support smooth message flow, availability, and overall system health
• Troubleshoot incidents such as stuck messages, performance issues, and connectivity failures, performing root cause analysis as needed
• Work with Mainframe Z/OS structures, logs, and libraries
• Develop and support message flows and integrations using IBM MQ, IIB/ACE, Java, XML, JMS, and REST APIs
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate MQ with Microsoft D365, mainframe systems, cloud platforms, and distributed applications

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience with IBM MQ / WebSphere MQ
• Strong understanding of messaging concepts including queues, topics, channels, persistence, and transactions
• Proficiency with Java, XML, JMS, and REST APIs
• Advanced troubleshooting capability using MQ logs/traces
• Exposure to Linux scripting, high availability setups, and ServiceNow ticketing
• Middleware experience with MuleSoft
• Knowledge of Azure
