VR & AR Application Developer
Job Description
AMATROL is seeking an onsite VR and AR Application Developer in Jeffersonville, Indiana to design, build, and refine immersive training experiences.
Responsibilities
- Create robust VR simulators and AR applications aligned with user needs and project goals.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to deliver a visually engaging user experience.
- Integrate core VR and AR features such as head and hand tracking, movement systems, and intuitive interfaces.
- Optimize code for performance and efficiency, reducing processing overhead.
- Incorporate APIs and SDKs to ensure cross platform compatibility and smooth operation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Programming, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on work with VR headsets and Unity or comparable development environments.
- Solid knowledge of object oriented programming, agile methods, and multimedia editing tools.
- Strong math and physics fundamentals with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and external partners.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational abilities and the capability to manage complex projects independently.
- On-site in Jeffersonville, Indiana, at least four days per week.
