AMATROL is seeking an onsite VR and AR Application Developer in Jeffersonville, Indiana to design, build, and refine immersive training experiences.

Create robust VR simulators and AR applications aligned with user needs and project goals.
Collaborate with graphic designers to deliver a visually engaging user experience.
Integrate core VR and AR features such as head and hand tracking, movement systems, and intuitive interfaces.
Optimize code for performance and efficiency, reducing processing overhead.
Incorporate APIs and SDKs to ensure cross platform compatibility and smooth operation.

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Programming, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Hands-on work with VR headsets and Unity or comparable development environments.
Solid knowledge of object oriented programming, agile methods, and multimedia editing tools.
Strong math and physics fundamentals with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and external partners.
Self-motivated with strong organizational abilities and the capability to manage complex projects independently.
On-site in Jeffersonville, Indiana, at least four days per week.
