Job Description

KeyBridge Technologies, LLC is seeking a Serious Game Developer to build interactive training and simulation applications for onsite work in Oklahoma City, OK.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive training and simulation applications using Unity and C#
  • Integrate 3D models, animations, audio, visual effects, UI elements, and other digital assets into Unity projects
  • Convert storyboards, technical requirements, instructional designs, and subject-matter expert feedback into functional Unity applications
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, sprint planning, and other software development activities
  • Collaborate with artists and designers to ensure 3D assets and visual designs are technically implementable
  • Work with QA testers to identify, reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve defects
  • Maintain technical documentation for internal systems
  • Improve development standards, tools, workflows, and reusable frameworks

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience developing applications with Unity
  • Strong proficiency in Unity’s C# and object-oriented programming
  • Demonstrated experience building interactive applications or games in Unity
  • Experience implementing user interactions and input systems in Unity
  • Ability to read and understand technical requirements, design documents, storyboards, and software specifications
  • Experience with profiling, debugging, and troubleshooting Unity applications
  • Experience using Git or another version control system
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Unity animation systems, Addressables, Cinemachine, particle systems, lighting, and physics
  • Experience developing for Unity WebGL
  • Experience developing for mobile platforms such as Android or iOS
  • Experience with AR/VR or other immersive technologies
  • Experience with Unity XR Interaction Toolkit
  • Experience building cross-platform compatible applications
  • Experience using REST APIs, WebSockets, JSON, databases, or external services
  • Experience developing multiplayer or networked Unity applications
  • Familiarity with Unity multiplayer/networking frameworks including Unity Netcode for GameObjects, Photon, or Mirror
  • Understanding of client-server architecture, network synchronization, server authority, and multiplayer state management
  • Experience synchronizing player interactions, 3D objects, animations, and simulation states across multiple users
  • Knowledge of multiplayer concepts including RPCs, network variables, ownership/authority, interpolation, latency, and connection management
  • Experience with automated testing or test-driven development
  • Experience profiling and optimizing Unity applications with Unity Profiler and related tools
  • Experience developing reusable Unity frameworks, tools, or editor extensions
  • Familiarity with eLearning standards such as SCORM, xAPI, or LMS integration
  • Experience working in regulated, government, defense, or security-conscious software development environments
  • Experience working with Unity’s Canvas System and UI-Toolkit
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices
  • Experience developing serious games, training simulations, eLearning applications, or other educational software
  • Experience with military, government, industrial, technical, or equipment-training simulations
  • Experience with 3D modeling pipelines and integrating assets created with Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max
  • Experience with Section 508 compliance

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, Interactive Media, or related field is preferred
  • Equivalent professional experience and demonstrated Unity development skills may be considered in place of a degree
