UI / Mission Planning Software Engineer / C++
Job Description
Onsite in Orlando, FL, Lockheed Martin seeks a UI and mission planning software engineer to build cross platform (Windows/Linux) C++ modules and C# interfaces for missile performance and mission planning applications.
Responsibilities
- Requirements analysis
- Designing and developing C# and C++ software components in MS Visual Studio
- Development of software component test cases, procedures and drivers
- Integration of developed components with associate contractor developed components
- Developing and maintaining UI software applications and/or web-based applications
- The successful candidate will have training in C/C++, prior experience in GUI development, experience with Linux OS
- Integrating with sub-contractor developed components in C++
- CONUS travel may be required to support customer, user, and integration events
Requirements
- Experience with .NET/C# development
- Experience developing in C++
- Software architecture knowledge
- Experience developing and implementing algorithms
- GitLab CI/CD
- Visual Studio environment experience with .NET Framework
- Interim Secret Clearance required to start, with the ability to obtain Secret clearance, must be a U.S. citizen

- Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
- Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules, ranging from standard 40 hours over five days to condensed schedules that provide additional time away from the office. These schedules are in addition to Paid Time Off.
- Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour days, 3 days off per week
