TIBCO Developer (• Only US Citizen, Green Card Holder can apply.)

Sonsoft Inc is seeking a skilled TIBCO Developer to join an on-site team in Northbrook, Illinois. This role centers on building and supporting integration solutions using the TIBCO suite, with a strong emphasis on SDLC discipline and global delivery. The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of EAI/ESB experience, solid J2EE server-side expertise, and a track record of collaborating across onsite and offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement, develop, validate and support activities aligned with design and architecture requirements
• Analyze and propose workarounds when needed
• Develop and review artifacts such as documents, code and test scripts
• Perform validation activities including functional, integration and system testing
• Validate reported defects and prioritize corrective actions
• Provide support for user acceptance testing, deployment and cut-over
• Lead or participate in production support activities
• Manage stakeholders and coordinate onsite-offshore efforts
• Experience leading project activities and teams
• Demonstrate strong design and development skills in TIBCO BusinessWorks processes
• Ability to create and understand mapping documents
• Deploy, test and debug TIBCO components
• Possess adequate knowledge of EMS and database concepts
• Exposure to various SDLC processes and agile/waterfall methodologies
• Show strong analytical, problem solving and communication abilities
• Maintain a solid J2EE background focusing on core Java, servlets and application servers
• Have a good grasp of XML, XSLT, XPATH and BPEL
• Understand service oriented architecture with prior implementation experience preferred
• ITIL process understanding would be an advantage
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and interfacing with clients
• Maintain effective communication and analytical skills
• Willingness to operate in a global delivery setting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience in the specialty may substitute for each year of education
• At least 4 years of experience within information technologies
