Job Description

Sonsoft Inc is seeking Java Front End Developers with Test Driven Development experience for an onsite role in Northbrook, IL. The position emphasizes a combination of Java/J2EE expertise and front-end capabilities in JavaScript, ES7, and ReactJS, aligning with a TDD approach.

Responsibilities

Minimum four years of experience with Java and J2EE technologies, developing web applications using server-side frameworks such as Struts, Spring, and Hibernate, and working with SOAP and REST web services.
At least two years of hands-on experience with the JBoss Application Server.
Strong analytical skills to understand business processes and functionality, including requirements gathering, data migration and loading, data extraction, reporting, application maintenance, production support, and release management.
Knowledge of available development tools and frameworks.
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multi-application team environment.
Good communication skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
Willingness to operate in a global delivery environment.

Requirements

Proficiency in JavaScript, ES7, ReactJS, and Test Driven Development.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of every year of education.
At least four years of information technology experience.

Job Description

Sonsoft Inc is seeking a skilled TIBCO Developer to join an on-site team in Northbrook, Illinois. This role centers on building and supporting integration solutions using the TIBCO suite, with a strong emphasis on SDLC discipline and global delivery. The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of EAI/ESB experience, solid J2EE server-side expertise, and a track record of collaborating across onsite and offshore teams.

Responsibilities

Implement, develop, validate and support activities aligned with design and architecture requirements
Analyze and propose workarounds when needed
Develop and review artifacts such as documents, code and test scripts
Perform validation activities including functional, integration and system testing
Validate reported defects and prioritize corrective actions
Provide support for user acceptance testing, deployment and cut-over
Lead or participate in production support activities
Manage stakeholders and coordinate onsite-offshore efforts
Experience leading project activities and teams
Demonstrate strong design and development skills in TIBCO BusinessWorks processes
Ability to create and understand mapping documents
Deploy, test and debug TIBCO components
Possess adequate knowledge of EMS and database concepts
Exposure to various SDLC processes and agile/waterfall methodologies
Show strong analytical, problem solving and communication abilities
Maintain a solid J2EE background focusing on core Java, servlets and application servers
Have a good grasp of XML, XSLT, XPATH and BPEL
Understand service oriented architecture with prior implementation experience preferred
ITIL process understanding would be an advantage
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and interfacing with clients
Maintain effective communication and analytical skills
Willingness to operate in a global delivery setting
