Java Front end developers (TDD)

Sonsoft Inc is seeking Java Front End Developers with Test Driven Development experience for an onsite role in Northbrook, IL. The position emphasizes a combination of Java/J2EE expertise and front-end capabilities in JavaScript, ES7, and ReactJS, aligning with a TDD approach.

Responsibilities

• Minimum four years of experience with Java and J2EE technologies, developing web applications using server-side frameworks such as Struts, Spring, and Hibernate, and working with SOAP and REST web services.
• At least two years of hands-on experience with the JBoss Application Server.
• Strong analytical skills to understand business processes and functionality, including requirements gathering, data migration and loading, data extraction, reporting, application maintenance, production support, and release management.
• Knowledge of available development tools and frameworks.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multi-application team environment.
• Good communication skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to operate in a global delivery environment.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, ES7, ReactJS, and Test Driven Development.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of every year of education.
• At least four years of information technology experience.
• Citizenship/work authorization requirement: only US Citizens, Green Card holders, GC-EAD, H4-EAD and L2-EAD applicants may apply. OPT-EAD, H1B and TN candidates are not eligible.
