Interface Developer (Pentaho)

CGI Group, Inc. is looking for an Interface Developer (Pentaho & Enterprise Integrations) to help deliver secure, reliable integration solutions between enterprise ERP platforms and business applications. This onsite role in Oregon focuses on building production-ready interfaces and integration workflows, with opportunities to collaborate across technical and client stakeholders to drive dependable data exchange.

Compensation range: USD 77,800 - 135,500 per year.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise system interfaces using Pentaho and related integration technologies
• Develop, consume, and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, and integration components for secure, reliable data exchange
• Build and support batch, real time, and event driven integrations across ERP platforms, cloud services, and third-party applications
• Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, validate, and load data across multiple systems
• Collaborate with solution architects, functional consultants, business analysts, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into integration solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve interface, API, and data integration issues while improving performance, scalability, and reliability
• Implement error handling, logging, monitoring, and recovery processes to support stable production operations
• Create and maintain interface specifications, technical documentation, deployment procedures, and knowledge transfer materials
• Participate in integration testing, system testing, UAT, and production deployments
• Ensure solutions comply with security, development, and data governance standards
• Support Agile delivery through sprint planning, design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement
• Monitor production interfaces, proactively identify issues, and provide ongoing operational support

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise system integrations
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with Pentaho integration and ETL development
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Strong experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services using JSON, XML, and HTTP
• Experience integrating ERP applications, enterprise systems, relational databases, and cloud-based services
• Strong SQL development skills with experience using Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar
• Experience designing ETL workflows, data mappings, transformation logic, and data validation processes
• Working knowledge of API authentication and security standards, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, and SSL/TLS
• Experience using Git or other source control/version management tools
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with cross-functional collaboration across technical, functional, and client-facing teams

Location and Schedule

• Henderson, NV; Phoenix, AZ; and San Diego, CA are preferred locations with a 3 day onsite requirement. Remote candidates with the right experience may be considered (must be willing to work PST hours).
