Job Description

As a Software Engineer II on the SCOT Automated Inventory Management team, you will design and deploy AI agents and Gen AI enabled solutions aimed at accelerating analytics and automating supply chain tasks for Amazon's global operations.

Location

Bellevue, WA (onsite)

Compensation

USD 143,700 - 194,400 per year

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy AI systems and agents that enable faster, data-driven decisions and transform how Amazon serves customers worldwide.
  • Develop Gen AI technologies leveraging robust AWS services to deliver high-performance, enterprise-grade applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers across the organization to translate business requirements into effective solutions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling) for new and existing systems
  • 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
  • 1+ years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
  • 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Knowledge of general AI tools
  • Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale
