Job Description
Join Huxley in Boston, MA (onsite) to build and scale mission-critical software for aviation, defense, energy, and other critical infrastructure sectors. This Senior Software Engineer role focuses on delivering high-performance decision-support systems and measurable customer impact, using modern technologies including Python, Rust, and LLM/AI tools. Competitive $160,000 to $210,000 base salary, along with medical, dental, and vision coverage and paid leave where required by applicable law.
What you’ll do
- Design, build, and launch software products from concept to production, supporting new initiatives from 0 to 1.
- Enhance and scale existing products as they evolve, supporting growth from 1 to n.
- Collaborate with engineers, deployment strategists, and end users to ensure solutions meet real operational needs.
- Develop high-performance systems to address complex operational challenges.
- Contribute to establishing engineering standards and best practices.
- Build decision-support tools that deliver measurable impact for customers.
- Participate across the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation through deployment and optimization.
What you bring
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
- Strong ability to quickly learn and work with Python and Rust.
- Experience using modern LLM and AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
