Responsibilities

• Assist and deliver web design, development, production, testing and troubleshooting tasks of moderate to high complexity. Web properties may integrate multiple learning assets such as readings, photos, video surveys and assessments.
• Adhere to established standards and processes for producing and distributing work products, collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to achieve efficiency and fast delivery timelines.
• Create a broad range of communications and materials for IT applications and systems.
• Propose strategies to enhance communications themes for IT applications and systems.
• Produce training videos for virtual distribution.
• Develop graphics assets for training and continuing education.
• Develop original illustrations, charts, schematics and other graphic assets.
• Plan and coordinate graphic work to support IT applications and systems.
• Develop innovative graphic designs, formats, templates and standards.
• Apply typography, color theory, design aesthetics and composition to IT applications and training materials.
• Create identities, icons, artwork concepts and 3D exhibit and display designs.
• Follow established production and quality control standards and guidelines.
• Test web and online products for display and operability.
• Ensure graphic usability, deliverability and operability and maintain overall quality control for IT applications and systems.
• Ensure IT applications and systems comply with applicable standards and requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, certifications or training, or work experience.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• Proven experience in web design, development, production, testing and troubleshooting.
• Experience with UX/UI design as well as multimedia and graphics production.
• Advanced experience developing, designing and creating projects using SharePoint.
• Experience implementing dynamic web pages, custom application plugins and widgets, and CSS.
• Experience in three or more of the following: Ajax/JavaScript, HTML5, Vue, CSS, MySQL.
• Experience using Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, Captivate and Catasia.
• Experience using approved Section 508 accessibility compliance tools.
• Experience designing and developing original, innovative graphic designs, formats, templates and standards for product design.
• Security clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Experience with WordPress, Confluence and HIVE
