SharePoint and PowerApps Developer

Onsite SharePoint and Power Apps Developer supporting Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, VA, requiring a Top Secret clearance and 7+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain SharePoint solutions across Online and On-Premises environments, including custom web parts, workflows, lists, libraries, content types, and site collections.
• Administer SharePoint environments with duties around user permissions, security controls, and governance practices.
• Configure and manage SharePoint sites, document management systems, and collaboration platforms.
• Design and automate workflows using SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and Power Automate.
• Develop and sustain Power Apps solutions, covering both Canvas and Model-driven apps.
• Build and optimize Power Automate workflows to streamline processes and integrate with data sources such as SQL, SharePoint, and external APIs.
• Connect Power Apps to multiple data sources via Dataverse, implementing business rules within applications.
• Develop client-side solutions using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
• Create integrations for SharePoint and Power Apps using REST APIs, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and remediate issues in SharePoint and Power Apps environments, focusing on performance optimization and reliability.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure stability, security, and availability of SharePoint and Power Apps solutions.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related IT discipline.
• Experience: 7+ years as a SharePoint or Power Apps Developer, including at least 3 years focused on developing and administering SharePoint solutions and Power Apps.
• Alternative qualification: Level II Certification (Security+ or higher) with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Clearance: Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Location and on-site work: Onsite in Portsmouth, VA 23709; ability to commute to the facility as required.
