Senior Application Developer
Job Description
The Senior Application Developer will design and implement Salesforce based solutions and integrations, partnering with business and IT teams to deliver secure, scalable performance.
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain Salesforce applications, including custom objects, fields, workflows, triggers, and Lightning components.
- Identify and resolve system issues, execute unit tests, and support release cycles.
- Preserve data integrity through governance standards, audits, and data management tooling.
- Produce documentation, system guidelines, training materials, and deliver user training sessions.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and developers to define viable solutions and meet project timelines.
- Assess and integrate AppExchange products and third party integrations.
- Support integrations using REST, SOAP APIs and MuleSoft.
- Monitor performance and stay current with Salesforce releases and best practices.
- Contribute to project estimates, process improvements, and technology evaluations.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of IT application development experience.
- Five plus years of Salesforce experience, including Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and integration development.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce administration, security, data modeling, governor limits, and Communities.
- Experience with web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills; capable of managing multiple priorities.
