Senior ERP Application Developer

UFP Technologies is seeking a Senior ERP Application Developer to provide functional support across business systems and applications. This onsite role in Newburyport, MA focuses on designing and building complex data systems and integrations while partnering with business users and technical teams to deliver clear reporting and business-ready datasets.

In this position, you will take the lead on challenging systems work, including combining data from multiple sources into a single common dataset and querying that data using MSSQL to support reports and dashboards. The role also serves as a key point of contact for outside technology providers when needed.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex data systems and integrations.
• Work with multiple similar datasets from separate sources and merge them into a single common dataset.
• Implement solutions at the application level or through web-based approaches.
• Lead complex systems projects and provide direction to project groups.
• Recommend process improvements and help shape implementation options.
• Facilitate discussions, develop implementation options, and contribute to application programming efforts as assigned.
• Act as the key contact for outside application or technology providers, as needed.
• Query data using MSSQL and deliver reports and dashboards.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of software or application development experience, including two to four years with ERP implementations and integrations.
• Experience designing at least one data brokerage from multiple systems or similar.
• Technical report writing experience (strongly preferred).
• Some experience leading teams and projects.
• Knowledge of and experience with MSSQL, C#, .Net 6+, Core 3.1+, and HTML/CSS/JS or similar.
• REST/SOAP API experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to identify business issues related to application implementation.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to facilitate agreements that produce solutions across organizational levels and implement through to closure.
• Ability to lead group discussions and facilitate business process decisions in cross-functional groups.
• Ability to travel when needed.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: USD 130,000 - 140,000 per year.
