Salesforce Developer Lead

Computer Enterprises Inc seeks a principal-level Salesforce Developer Lead in Pittsburgh, PA 15222 for an onsite contract engagement. This role combines hands-on Salesforce development with cross-team technical leadership, guiding execution through standards, guardrails, and secure, compliant delivery.

Role Overview

In this position, you will act as a cross-team technical leader without direct authority, influencing engineering decisions and coordinating development work across groups. You will ensure deadlines are met with accurate implementation, limited defects in QA, and dependable outcomes in Jira tracking and production deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide cross-team technical leadership without formal authority, coordinating development activities and influencing decisions.
• Define and enforce coding standards, guardrails, and best practices aligned with developer framework standards, security requirements, and compliance mandates.
• Translate platform constraints into actionable guidance for developers, architects, and engineering leaders, including clear articulation of tradeoffs during planning.
• Support SSE/EDGE development within the bank/LOB.
• Collaborate with testers, BSAs, scrum masters, product owners, and integration partners.
• Deliver work that meets deadlines with accuracy and minimal bugs in QA, with smooth Jira and production deployments.
• Participate in interviews and technical assessments as part of the hiring process.
• Support periodic travel and as-needed deployments.

Required Qualifications

• Salesforce Development Experience with at least 7 years total experience.
• Apex experience with at least 5 years.
• Cloud integration experience with at least 3 years.
• Salesforce certification(s).
• Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform and relevant security standards.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical constraints into guidance.
• Ability to influence and coordinate across teams without direct authority.
• Experience collaborating with testers, BSAs, scrum masters, and product owners.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: USD 65 per hour (listed as USD 65 - 65 per hourly).
