Job Description
In Lansing, Michigan, IDR, Inc. is building and supporting a large-scale public sector initiative, and the team needs a Salesforce Developer to expand existing functionality. This onsite role focuses on delivering and improving Salesforce capabilities through core platform development and integrations.
You will contribute to enhancements across custom applications and automation, working with established Salesforce architecture and supporting the lifecycle of the solution from development through deployments and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain custom Salesforce applications and enhancements aligned to project needs
- Build and support Apex (classes and triggers) and Lightning Web Components within the established Salesforce architecture
- Create and optimize SOQL/SOSL queries and support data model-driven development
- Assist with automation including Flows and validation rules, and support integrations with external systems via APIs
- Participate in code reviews, deployments, troubleshooting, and ongoing application support
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex and Lightning
- Experience building and maintaining Lightning Web Components (LWC) in real-world implementations
- Strong working knowledge of SOQL/SOSL and foundational Salesforce data modeling
- Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) certification and an active Trailblazer account
- Familiarity with common Salesforce development tools and practices, including SFDX, VS Code, Git, and deployments
