NetSuite Developer

At The Daston Corporation, the NetSuite Developer will help optimize and extend our NetSuite footprint. This hybrid role in Leesburg, VA blends hands-on development with careful analysis to implement, analyze, modify, and migrate NetSuite customizations, while maintaining and enhancing custom Suite-apps to improve overall system efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create search interfaces against NetSuite’s API to look up custom records
• Implement custom roles within the customer center to control access levels
• Enhance order processing workflows to enable users to complete complex purchases
• Follow established software development processes and detailed project plans
• Generate accurate work estimates for assigned tasks
• Take assignments and direction from agency management and technical lead staff
• Develop expertise in complex systems quickly
• Document and cross-train CPA staff as necessary to facilitate knowledge transfer

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge and experience coding in JavaScript within NetSuite’s SuiteCommerce Advanced platform
• Specific experience with Bootstrap, Backbone, and jQuery
• 3+ years of experience with web application development and maintenance
• 3+ years of experience with JavaScript
• 5+ years of experience completing system documentation
• 4+ years of extensive experience with highly complex application security requirements
• 3+ years of experience with the NetSuite platform
• 3+ years of experience with SuiteCommerce Advanced
• 3+ years of experience with Backbone.js
• 3+ years of experience with jQuery
• 2+ years of experience with Bootstrap
• Strong background in programming and testing
• Quality-conscious with a dedication to delivering quality products on time and on budget
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Minimum 2 years of experience
