Job Description
TEKsystems is hiring a Salesforce Developer for a permanent, fully onsite role in Oklahoma City, OK. You will work on enterprise Salesforce solutions across design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. Salary range: USD 106,000 - 130,000 per year. Individual compensation within this range depends on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
What You’ll Do
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business and technical objectives into Salesforce solutions. This includes building and supporting moderately to highly complex initiatives, automations, and integrations that improve performance, data quality, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Design, build, test, deploy, and support Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Components, Salesforce Flows, APIs, and integration capabilities.
- Create and maintain maintainable configurations and code aligned with established standards and modern Salesforce development methodologies.
- Perform unit testing, participate in system testing, and troubleshoot development and configuration issues.
- Monitor and support existing Salesforce applications to maintain performance, security, and reliability.
- Develop and deploy application updates, enhancements, and defect corrections, including participation in release and deployment activities.
- Produce technical documentation such as system documentation, technical specifications, and code comments.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews, incorporate feedback, and promote code quality through best practices.
- Lead or contribute to technical design efforts, including root-cause analysis and resolution for complex integration and performance issues.
- Provide technical leadership and serve as a primary escalation resource for enterprise Salesforce applications and business-critical solutions.
- Support knowledge sharing by mentoring junior developers and assisting with onboarding and technical training.
- Evaluate emerging Salesforce capabilities and related technologies, and recommend adoption where it delivers measurable business value.
Required Skills and Experience
- Education requirement (Levels I and II): an associate’s degree in a technical discipline.
- Experience requirements vary by level:
- Level I: 2 years of experience developing, administering, or supporting Salesforce platforms (financial institution experience is preferred).
- Level II: 3 years of experience (at least 1 year supporting Salesforce Financial Services Cloud is preferred; financial institution experience is preferred).
- Level III: 5 years of experience (at least 1 year supporting Salesforce Financial Services Cloud is required; financial institution experience is preferred).
- Sr Level: 7 years of progressively responsible experience (at least 3 years supporting Salesforce Financial Services Cloud is required; financial institution experience is preferred).
- Education alternative: applicable work experience and/or military experience may be substituted for education at the rate of two years of experience for one year of education.
- Education for Level III: a bachelor’s degree in management information systems or a related field is required.

Additional Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, Salesforce governance standards, information security requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Ensure individual and related team performance meets TFCU Member Services Requirements, TFCU Missions, TFCU Goals/Objectives, and TFCU Policies/Procedures/Practices.
