Java Developer

Infosys is hiring a Java Developer for an onsite Technology Consultant role in Richardson, TX. In this position, you will contribute across the SDLC lifecycle, helping teams translate stakeholder needs into well-designed software. You will also support production stability by monitoring live applications and documenting solutions that enable smoother maintenance and ongoing improvement.

What you will do

• Help run targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs, while ensuring stakeholder requirements are documented accurately.
• Join design discussions to define software specifications and support the creation of process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications, working from detailed design specifications to meet user requirements.
• Execute test plans, analyze results, and report defects to the development team to support improvements in software performance.
• Assist with integrating new software features to support smooth transitions within the existing system infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and that comprehensive documentation is maintained for ongoing system upkeep.
• Systematically document coding practices, testing methods, and technical solutions to expand the team’s knowledge repository.
