Java Backend Developer

Infosys is seeking a Java Backend Developer / Technology Consultant 1 to support software delivery across the full SDLC lifecycle. The role focuses on requirement capture, design support, backend development and testing, feature integration, live application monitoring, and thorough documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs, and ensure accurate documentation of stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications, and support the creation of process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications while following detailed design specifications to meet user requirements.
• Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects to the development team to support software performance enhancements.
• Support the integration of new software features to enable smooth transitions within existing system infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring prompt issue resolution and creation of comprehensive documentation for ongoing system maintenance.
• Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions to strengthen the team knowledge repository.

Technology Consultant 1: Assigned Area of Responsibility
