Data Engineer

Infosys is seeking a Data Engineer (assigned as Technology Consultant 2) in Dallas, TX on an onsite basis. The role supports the full software development lifecycle by connecting requirements, design discussions, implementation, quality activities, and ongoing production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support requirements elicitation by documenting assigned portions of business requirements according to provided guidance.
• Lead and participate in software application design discussions, and record design decisions to guide the technical team toward agreed solution approaches.
• Carry out coding activities and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with an emphasis on system stability.
• Perform code reviews, make changes to the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze test results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold software quality standards.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to enable smooth adoption of new software applications.
• Participate in production issue resolution and recommend preventive strategies to improve system reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to strengthen the knowledge base and support similar projects.
