C++ Developer
Job Description
Work onsite in Irving, TX with Infosys as a C++ Developer (Technology Consultant 2). This role supports end-to-end development work across the SDLC, from requirement gathering and design discussions through implementation, testing, and production issue resolution. You will contribute technical documentation and knowledge sharing so teams can build, maintain, and improve software solutions efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Support the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned portions of business requirements according to provided guidance.
- Join software application design discussions and document design decisions to align the technical team on how the solution will be built.
- Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with an emphasis on maintaining system stability.
- Conduct code reviews and perform code changes while maintaining and updating code repositories.
- Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold established software quality standards.
- Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to support smooth transitions to new software applications.
- Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to strengthen system reliability.
- Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to expand the knowledge base for related projects.
