.NET Lead Developer

Infosys is seeking a .NET Lead Developer (Technology Consultant 2) to support teams across the software development lifecycle, from early requirements through delivery and ongoing production support. This onsite role is based in Woodbridge, NJ and focuses on both hands-on development and technical leadership activities such as design documentation, reviews, and test strategy execution.

In this position, you will help shape how software is built and maintained by contributing to requirements documentation, guiding design decisions, integrating new functionality, and supporting high-quality releases. You will also play an active role in production issue resolution and capturing knowledge so other projects can reuse proven approaches.

What you’ll do

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned portions of business requirements according to provided guidance.
• Facilitate software application design discussions and document design decisions that help the technical team build the right solution.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with an emphasis on maintaining system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, make changes to the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold software quality standards.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to support a smooth transition to new applications.
• Participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to improve system reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing approaches, and support activities to strengthen the knowledge base for similar projects.
