Frontend Developer
Job Description
HealthCare Synergy, Inc. is seeking a Frontend Developer to join an Agile team responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise solutions. This onsite role in Cypress, CA places you in Southern California to collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders while building robust frontend experiences.
Responsibilities
- Apply established development tools and conventions, including C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue, .NET ASP MVC, Playwright, and JMeter, to deliver frontend features.
- Support the transition of an existing .NET ASP MVC based Front End into a Vue Front End.
- Work in a test-driven environment using multiple APIs to meet requirements.
- Refine requests into functional displays that use the minimum necessary data.
- Create prototypes and transform them into working solutions using both fake and real data.
- Communicate effectively at both technical and business levels, with clarity demonstrated through tests and production code.
- Contribute to agile practices, design patterns, and the sharing of lessons learned.
- Participate in API implementation and design, and manage the defect tracking system while coordinating system updates.
- Explore and develop skills in new technologies; participate in daily standups, weekly iterations, and design discussions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of frontend development experience in a team environment with shipped production code.
- Experience supporting releases after code is pushed to customers.
- Design or development experience delivering frontend work within an n-tier architecture.
- Ability to work effectively in a small team, taking ownership of all aspects of design and development.
- Passion for technology, continuous learning, and a curious mindset.
- Active in-person participation in an Agile team at our Southern California office location.
- Experience with concurrent development using Git and continuous integration with JetBrains TeamCity.
- Knowledge of solution design patterns and best practices.
- Familiarity with an APM tool to assist with performance tuning and code quality.
- Experience debugging production code and handling sensitive data responsibly.
- Understanding of how browsers work and how devices impact perceived performance.
- Knowledge of the HealthCare Industry is a plus.
