Front End Developer – Mid-level

This onsite Front End Developer – Mid-level role is based in San Antonio, Texas, and comes with a comprehensive benefits package along with a competitive annual salary of USD 100,000 to 130,000. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; a Master’s degree may substitute for up to two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter proficiency for the work described in the task.
• Apply analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and requirements definition.
• Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, establishing functional architecture, and related management and technical duties.
• Demonstrate expertise in specialty areas.
• Perform front-end design and development tasks, including creating technical design drawings, mockups, and wireframes, and generating documentation for PMO and stakeholder review; plan and implement modifications to Graphic Use Interfaces (GUIs); construct and optimize UI elements; improve system navigation; and support user-facing feature development.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• On-site in San Antonio, TX up to five days per week based on customer requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field required. A Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience.
• 7 years of experience in the functional area.
• 7 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages, with the ability to apply DevSecOps tools, microservices, and containers.
• 3 years of experience with bug tracking software such as Jira.
• 3 years of recent, relevant experience performing front-end web design and development.
• 3 years of experience testing web-based applications.
• 3 years of experience participating in software development programs or projects.
• 5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab.
• 5 years of experience with at least five of the following: Apache, Ember, React, Angular, JavaScript, Jaguar, Java, Cricket, Node.
• Demonstrated experience with agile, user-centric application design and best-of-breed UI/UX standards.
• Experience generating system wireframes and mockups considering multiple user personas.
• Experience preparing, conducting, and documenting various system tests to verify operability and alignment with project standards and requirements.
• Practical experience developing in a cloud environment.
• Experience integrating data from unclassified to classified application deployments.
