Job Description

VISUAL SOFT, INC is hiring a mid-level Software Developer for a fully onsite role in Huntsville, AL. This position involves building and integrating modern web applications and data workflows, with an Active TOP SECRET clearance required to perform the work.

You will join a robust team in an Agile environment, applying experience across backend and frontend technologies while supporting data presentation from structured and unstructured repositories.

What you’ll do

  • Learn to customize or use various GOTS and COTS products
  • Collaborate in a robust team environment
  • Support presentation of data from structured and unstructured data stores by integrating Hadoop/MapReduce, databases, or like repositories
  • Develop Java/AWS/Vue.js Spring Boot web applications in an Agile development environment
  • Maintain an Active TOP SECRET clearance requirement for the role

Key requirements

  • Active TOP SECRET clearance is required
  • 5+ years of experience building Java, AWS, Vue.js, Spring Boot web applications in an Agile environment
  • Experience with ElasticSearch, Apache TIKA, and Apache NiFI
  • Experience with version control such as GIT, SubVersion, or TFS
  • Experience working with Oracle, mySQL, or other RDBMS
  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • TOP SECRET is a must and the job is fully onsite

Compensation

Salary is based on experience and other qualifications.
