Cyber Software Engineer Staff
Job Description
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Staff Cyber Software Engineer to advance SIGINT development, digital signal processing, and the integration of DSP software for satellite communications. This onsite role in Fort Meade, Maryland places you at the heart of critical national security work, requiring collaboration across engineering disciplines to deliver capable, mission-ready DSP solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide concise explanations of developed models to enable teammates to understand and utilize models or algorithms for processing signals of interest.
- Develop, test, and implement digital signal processing algorithms for satellite communication systems.
- Collaborate with infrastructure engineers and software engineers to integrate DSP software into the overall system architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years or more of professional experience. Considered an expert, authority in discipline.
- RF signals analysis
- Demonstrated experience coding C/C++ and Python
- Ability to design, develop and implement systems within a Unix/Linux environment
- Experience with message queue implementation/ communication
- Possess all capabilities as defined by the GG Statement of work (SOW) Appendix B for the USG standard SWE labor category level 3
- You must possess the requisite security clearance and polygraphs to apply to this position

The work
- The GG SIGNAL SWE leads multi-faceted mission critical system development, deployment, and evolution.
- The successful candidate will provide SIGINT Development (SIGDEV) analytic support, analyze signals of interest, and design software modules for advanced signal processing.
- This role requires expertise in both coding and signal processing to optimize customer accesses and develop innovative processing solutions.
