Data Engineer Sr - Level 3

Benefits-forward role in Fort Worth, TX with the opportunity to design and deliver end-to-end data solutions across the full data lifecycle. This onsite position supports scalable data pipelines, ETL, reporting, analytics, and the security mechanisms that help keep data usable, reliable, and ready for analysis. Salary range: $85,300 to $158,300 per year.

What you’ll do

• Build data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate unorganized data into databases or analysis-ready data sources.
• Design and implement data solutions by defining functional capabilities, security, backup, and recovery specifications.
• Work through all phases of a data solution lifecycle, including analyze/profile data, create conceptual/logical/physical data model designs, and architect ETL, reporting, and analytics.
• Maintain data system performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems.
• Calculate optimum parameter values and evaluate, integrate, and install new releases.
• Define standards, best practices, and certification processes for data objects.

What you bring

• Experience with SAP HANA, Oracle, or SQL Server, including relational database principles plus SQL and one or more of: SQLScript, PL/SQL, Transact-SQL for Procedures, Functions, and Views.
• Experience with Tableau, IBM Cognos, or other data visualization tools.
• Experience with data mining and cleansing, including recognizing and correcting errors or discrepancies to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness, and/or ETL/data warehousing principles.
• Background in problem-solving and troubleshooting to resolve complex technical issues.

Skills and experience that help

• Experience building data solutions for data analytic products and services at scale and speed.
• Experience working with internal and external customers to improve program deliverables, processes, and solutions.
• Ability to coordinate changes to existing data products with minimal disruption to end users.
• In-depth knowledge of GOLD, SAP (ERP), and/or PRIDE data systems.
• Working knowledge in multiple languages such as Python, Microsoft (VBA), or SQL and their use cases.
• Strong relational database principles and SQL proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, plus collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
