Backend Developer

Backend Developer at Splash Clinical responsible for designing and developing websites, applications, and infrastructure, with a focus on PHP, MySQL, and AWS, API design, and QA-driven maintenance in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage in scoping sessions, analyze user needs, and design software within an agile workflow.
• Handle a mix of maintenance, feature enhancements, and new development as needed.
• Deliver robust, scalable code for Splash Clinical's internal software platform.
• Develop and implement APIs to support mobile and desktop clients.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve defects based on QA findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years in web development and software design.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, Vue, JavaScript, CSS), PHP frameworks (Laravel preferred), and MySQL.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services and other web-enabled AWS technologies.
• Highly organized and adaptable to shifting priorities.
• Strong attention to detail to meet customer specifications and regulatory standards.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Solid time-management capabilities.
