This position is a software developer role within Lockheed Martin's Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Global team. The work focuses on design, development, testing, integration, and automation for the Missile Defense System, with an active final secret clearance and travel up to approximately 10% to customer sites in Colorado Springs, CO.
Responsibilities
- Resolve complex issues and contribute to design, development, testing, integration, and user support for a large codebase.
- Adhere to specifications to implement or modify software functionality.
- Assist with design, benchmark testing, debugging, and documentation activities.
- Collaborate with other system support groups to resolve problems, establish standards, and improve overall system efficiency.
- Design, code, test, and deploy automation tools.
Requirements
- Active final secret clearance is required.
- Experience programming in Java.
- Knowledge of software practices and coding standards.
- Strong problem solving skills, including root-cause analysis and solution development.
- Experience developing and working with simulation frameworks for test and training use cases.

Ability to Work Onsite
Onsite Full-time: The work will be performed at a Lockheed Martin facility in Colorado Springs, CO.
Work Schedules
Scheduled as 4x10 hour days, three days off per week. Lockheed Martin also offers alternate schedules, including standard five-day weeks and condensed formats to provide additional time away from the office.
Salary
Annual base salary range: USD 93,200 - 164,450.
Washington State Applicants
Washington state specifics: Non-represented full-time employees accrue PTO at least 10 hours per month and receive a minimum of 90 holiday hours. Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of vacation per month and up to 52 hours of sick leave annually, with at least 96 holiday hours. PTO, vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date.
