Productive Programming, Inc. is advancing Care Compass 2.0 with new features and AI powered capabilities. This remote position in Wisconsin focuses on evolving a modern healthcare web platform, leveraging JavaScript, TypeScript, React, C#, SQL, and AWS Bedrock. You will work with a small Agile team to translate requirements into reliable, end-to-end software across front-end interfaces, APIs, and data workflows.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, test, and maintain new Care Compass 2.0 features across the web platform using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, and SQL.
- Deliver end-to-end functionality spanning front-end UI, C# APIs, business logic, and database integration.
- Contribute to modules such as Participant 360, Care Management, Assessments, Services, Notes, Hospitalizations, Tasks, Authorizations, Documents, Reporting, Enrollment, and Dashboards.
- Maintain and modify SQL objects including tables, views, triggers, functions, and stored procedures.
- Attend design sessions to propose technical approaches for new capabilities.
- Implement features or programs based on design specifications.
- Support modernization efforts to migrate legacy Care Compass functionality into the Care Compass 2.0 web platform.
- May work evenings or weekends during scheduled maintenance windows to assist with releases.
- Integrate AWS Bedrock AI models to enhance intelligence, workflow assistance, and decision support.
- Develop AI features such as medical document summarization, member-specific summaries, contextual alerts, knowledge-base search, and workflow guidance.
- Create reusable UI patterns, including controls, panels, prompts, responses, and screen-specific AI interactions.
- Help design AI prompts, response structures, and guardrails suitable for healthcare and regulated environments.
- Ensure AI-enabled functionality respects tenant configuration, user permissions, member context, auditability, and security rules.
- Collaborate with a small development team in an Agile setting.
- Coordinate with Application Support to triage tickets and share knowledge across teams.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and occasionally customers to clarify requirements or resolve issues.
- Communicate technical options, risks, dependencies, and progress clearly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience programming in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, C#, and SQL.
- Experience building or consuming REST APIs or similar service-based patterns.
- Proven ability to deliver end-to-end solutions from front-end UI through back-end logic and database integration.
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to read, write, troubleshoot, and optimize queries and stored procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate high level requirements into functional systems via iterative development.
- Ability to prioritize on multiple projects and adapt to changing requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team.
- Willingness to learn healthcare workflows, Care Compass legacy functionality, and AI-enabled product development.

Compensation
Salary: USD 90,000 - 100,000 per year.
