Sr. Web Developer

Worldgate, LLC seeks a Sr. Web Developer in Philadelphia, PA (onsite) to lead the organization’s digital accessibility program, establish enterprise-wide standards, and manage a salary range of USD 110,000 - 120,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Develop and govern enterprise digital accessibility standards, frameworks, and governance practices.
• Audit and assess digital properties such as websites, applications, documents, and forms for accessibility compliance.
• Create and maintain automated and manual accessibility testing and validation workflows.
• Embed accessibility practices into design, development, and content processes across teams.
• Advise on accessibility requirements within procurement, vendor selection, and digital product development.
• Recommend and implement accessibility tools and solutions, including integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure accessibility is embedded throughout project lifecycles.
• Provide training, guidance, and documentation to support adoption of accessibility best practices.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and monitor ongoing compliance and program effectiveness.
• Help develop long-term accessibility strategies and roadmaps to sustain and mature the program.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university.
• 5+ years of professional experience in digital accessibility, including auditing, remediation, and program development.
• Expert knowledge of accessibility standards and regulations, including WCAG 2.1 AA/AAA, Section 508, and ADA Title II.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise accessibility frameworks, policies, and testing processes.
• Proficiency with accessibility testing tools and assistive technologies (e.g., axe, JAWS, NVDA).
• Experience integrating accessibility validation into development workflows, including automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
