Location and work setup
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week. Location: Hopkins, MN (onsite).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy and sustain software products
- Own full stack delivery by producing production-ready, testable code
- Develop designs aligned with architectural best practices, prioritizing scalability, reliability and performance across affected systems
- Investigate failures, propose design changes, and promote operational improvements
- Make technically sound choices with customer experience in mind
- Incorporate code review feedback to meet defined standards
- Review code to guide engineering practices and ensure adherence to procedures
- Ensure development follows compliance and security best practices
- Uphold software reliability engineering standards within development processes
- Explore emerging technologies and contribute to evolving engineering practices supporting the bank’s technology transformation
- Support a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Assess tasks for appropriate prioritization and incremental delivery; flag blockers and delays early
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five to six years of relevant experience
