Software Engineer I (entry level)

Identity Digital is seeking a Software Engineer I to help deliver production features for the TLD Registry Platform. In this entry level role, you will work alongside experienced engineers to design, build, and test scalable and reliable software systems.

Role Summary

Contribute to building and delivering production features for Identity Digital’s Top Level Domain (TLD) Registry Platform. With strong self-motivation and initiative, you will support engineering efforts that turn complex technical challenges into robust, production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and support technical solutions aligned with business requirements across the software development lifecycle
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and maintainability
• Provide on-call system support to maintain reliability and stability of business operations
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and system efficiency
• Model and promote Identity Digital’s core values through day-to-day interactions, behaviors, and decision-making
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• 0+ years of relevant experience developing enterprise software with object-oriented programming languages such as C# .NET, Java, or other major languages
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering; Master’s degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience
• Experience writing web applications and services, background services, and class libraries
• Experience with SQL (MS-SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL), SQL query language, and NoSQL
• Proficiency in troubleshooting technical problems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work across time zones as needed for a global organization
• Reliable transportation to the workplace

Compensation

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000 - $116,000 (flexibility based on experience) plus sales incentives and the benefits described below.

In addition, the successful candidate may be eligible for other compensation from time to time, including discretionary and/or nondiscretionary bonuses and long-term incentive plan awards. Actual compensation will be influenced by candidate qualifications, internal employee equity considerations, and location.
