Software Engineer (Frontend Developer)

Join Lockheed Martin Corporation as a Frontend Software Engineer on the CommandIQ team in Colorado Springs, CO, with a hybrid work arrangement that blends on-site collaboration and remote development. In this role, you will decompose roadmap features into actionable work items, design and implement user interface features, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. You’ll contribute to frontend solutions that support mission-critical systems using a modern frontend stack.

Responsibilities

• Decompose higher-level roadmap features into actionable work items
• Design, implement, and integrate/test software features
• Perform peer reviews for fellow software engineers and debug issues as they arise
• Participate in technical discussions to define/solve overarching software architecture needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional peers to better understand project requirements and customer/stakeholder needs

Requirements

• Frontend framework development experience using Angular, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Exposure/Familiarity with Docker, REST APIs
• Exposure to the UI/UX Design & Iteration Process and Familiarity with UI/UX Design Tools (Figma, MockFlow, UXPin, Axure)
• Knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and direct experience working within some of the stages
• 1+ years of relevant work experience or an advanced degree in Computer Science
• Active Secret Clearance

Ability to Work Remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this position

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate

The annual base salary range for this position is $76,500 - $134,895. Salary details may vary by location and are provided as a general guideline.
