Thomas & Reed, LLC invites you to join our Dayton, Ohio onsite team as a Software Engineer. This role centers on UX innovation, guiding the planning, design, development, and validation of software systems and applications. You will contribute to enhancing existing products and delivering new cloud-based solutions, building intuitive, high-performance UX applications that differentiate our offerings and satisfy customers.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, develop, and validate software systems with a focus on user experience innovation.
- Strengthen existing products and deliver new cloud-based solutions and connected tools.
- Create intuitive, high-performance UX applications that support strategic product differentiation and strong customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Five or more years of hands-on software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and C++, with application across diverse development environments.
- Experience across front-end and back-end development with solid understanding of full-stack architecture and integration.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum, including practical experience delivering iteratively and collaborating with teams.
- Hands-on work with cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud), including deployment and service integration.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases for data modeling and access.
