Job Description
Entry-level Software Developer role in Norcross, GA, with hybrid on-site work twice weekly, focusing on core software development, Exasol database work, and reporting using C# / .NET, SQL Server, and Tableau.
Responsibilities
- Join a small, highly collaborative team to design, develop, test, tune, implement, and support database objects and scripts on the Exasol platform.
- Help create new complex, high-volume functionality while maintaining and optimizing large datasets and the queries that consume them.
- Own the creation, optimization, and maintenance of daily reporting capabilities.
- Engage in a diverse environment within one of the country’s leading IVR development teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science with a minimum 3.6 GPA.
- Strong database skills with any database engine; SQL Server is preferred.
- Strong programming skills demonstrated through coursework or work experience.
- Ability to work with minimal direction within a collaborative team.
- Proven ability to tackle database administration and design challenges.
- Comfortable delivering in a deadline-driven development environment.
- Experience with database performance tuning and ETL processes.
- Exposure to C#, ASP.NET, Python, Java, C, C++, or Perl is a plus.
- Ability to make informed design and development decisions.
- Willingness to stay current with technology trends and best practices.
