Job Description

Software Developer II position focused on designing, building, and deploying .NET web applications and RESTful APIs within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, test, and deploy responsive web applications and services using .NET 8, 10 (or latest LTS), C#, and ASP.NET
  • Create and maintain RESTful APIs that drive front ends and mobile clients
  • Collaborate daily with product owners, designers, and QA in an Agile Scrum setting
  • Work with modern front end tech, with a preference for Blazor and Razor
  • Engage with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MySQL
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and rapid troubleshooting of production issues
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation efforts
  • Refactor legacy code when needed while managing technical debt
  • Stay current with .NET ecosystem advances and propose improvements while maintaining regression testing
  • Experience on an Agile team is required
  • Ensure data integrity across multiple software applications
  • Comply with ISO 9001 document control requirements
  • Collaborate with a software engineering team to develop logistics applications including web, desktop, and mobile using ASP.NET Core, WPF, C# for web/desktop and Kotlin for Android mobile
  • Assist management in analyzing user needs and designing software solutions
  • Consult with systems analysts and engineers to define systems, requirements, performance metrics, and interfaces
  • Communicate project status clearly to management on a regular basis
  • Perform additional tasks as needed
  • Travel may be required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • 4 years of related software development experience
  • 3 years of experience with relational databases PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Capability to pass a drug screening
  • Clear and accurate English communication, both verbal and written

About the Role

We are hiring a Software Developer to design, build, and scale modern web applications end to end. You will work across frontend UI, backend services, APIs, asynchronous processing, and data layers to deliver reliable, secure features.

This is an individual contributor position offering autonomy and real impact. You will own features end to end and contribute to technical decisions, quality standards, and delivery practices in a remote-first environment.

Work Schedule

  • Regular hours are Monday through Friday
  • Primarily a first shift, with possible adjustments based on contract requirements, customer missions, and surge conditions

Work Environment

  • Typically an indoor setting with a cubicle or office layout, moderate noise, and varying lighting
  • Occasional outdoor work may occur during travel for military-related projects
