Software Developer

Geopaq Logic is hiring a Full Stack (JAVA) Software Developer for an onsite role in Plano, TX. This 12-month contract opportunity focuses on building and maintaining information systems using a Java-centered backend and a Vue-based front end.

The position requires English/Korean bilingual communication skills and a strong, hands-on background with modern Java (including Java 17) alongside RESTful services and supporting infrastructure such as Redis and common application and database servers.

Role overview

• Develop and maintain information systems over 5+ years of Java experience.
• Work across backend and front-end technologies, including Java 17, Spring Boot, and Vue.js.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and support them with Redis.
• Coordinate multiple tasks through prioritization and effective handling of concurrent work.

Required experience and skills

• Over 5 years of Java experience developing or maintaining information systems.
• Proficiency with Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Working knowledge of Redis.
• Front-end experience with Vue.js.
• Web fundamentals including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with at least one application server: WebLogic, JBoss, or Tomcat.
• Experience with at least one database server: Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with UNIX/Linux platforms.
• Ability to handle, coordinate, and prioritize multiple tasks.
