JAVA Developer

Geopaq Logic is hiring a Java Developer for an onsite contract role in Plano, TX 75023. This position is focused on developing and maintaining information systems using modern Java technologies, with coordination across multiple tasks as priorities shift.

The contract is set for 1 year, and the role requires English/Korean bilingual proficiency. Candidates should also have strong hands-on experience with Java and a typical enterprise stack across application servers, databases, and UNIX/Linux environments.

Role Overview

• Develop and maintain information systems using Java and related technologies.
• Support delivery across several concurrent tasks by handling, coordinating, and prioritizing work.

Responsibilities

• Bring over 5 years of Java experience in building or maintaining information systems.
• Manage multiple tasks through coordination and prioritization.

Requirements

• English/Korean bilingual is required.
• Experience with Java 17, Spring boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Redis and Vue.js.
• Frontend skills with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with at least one application server: WebLogic, JBOSS, or Tomcat.
• Experience with at least one database server: Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with UNIX/Linux platforms.
