Job Description

Progressive IT is hiring a ServiceNow Developer to design, implement, and support ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations. This role is based in Dallas, TX with remote work and occasional onsite travel as needed. You will help translate business needs into reliable platform solutions, improve workflows through troubleshooting and optimization, and support both users and development teams with clear technical guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, test, and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations.
  • Support core ServiceNow modules including Incident Management, Change Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to convert requirements into effective ServiceNow solutions.
  • Troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and enhance platform functionality.
  • Maintain technical documentation and follow development and security best practices.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users and development teams.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with ServiceNow platform configuration and implementation, including support for multiple ServiceNow modules.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting.
  • Hands-on development experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Script Includes.
  • Experience with REST, SOAP, and MID Server integrations.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and how they are applied in ServiceNow.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with clear communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Preferred

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
